Keyboard shortcuts
The keys that save time, and how to change them.
DedCut has shortcuts for almost everything. You can see and change all of them.
Where to find itThe keyboard button at the top right shows the list and lets you change each shortcut.
What you can do
- Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y: undo / redo.
- Ctrl+S: save; Ctrl+E: export.
- Space: play / pause; S: split the clip; Del: delete.
- Ctrl+K: search for a command (type what you want to do).
- Ctrl+Shift+R: start / stop a recording; Ctrl+Shift+1 to Ctrl+Shift+9: switch scene; Ctrl+Shift+M: add a marker.
Good to know
The studio’s Ctrl+Shift+… shortcuts even work from inside a game, but only while the Record or Live space is open.
