Installing DedCut
What DedCut needs to run and how to install it in seconds.
DedCut installs for your Windows user, without administrator rights and without creating an account. The installer is about 18 MB. If Microsoft’s WebView2 component is missing (rare on Windows 10 and 11), it is installed automatically.
Where to find itOn dedcut.com, Download button: the file DedCut-Installation.exe lands in your Downloads folder.
What you can do
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
- A recent graphics card makes preview, effects and export faster, but it is not required.
- AI models (subtitles, assistant, AI video) are only downloaded if you use them.
Good to know
If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click “More info” then “Run anyway”: DedCut is new and Windows doesn’t know it yet.
To uninstall: Windows Settings > Apps. Your videos in the Videos\DedCut folder are never deleted.
