Building DedCut and contributing
Build DedCut yourself and suggest improvements or translations.
DedCut is made with Tauri 2 (Rust core), a React interface and a JavaScript editing engine. You can build it on your PC and suggest fixes.

What you can do
- You need Windows 10 or 11, Node.js 20 or newer and stable Rust.
- In the tauri folder: npm install, then npm run tauri dev.
- The texts of the 9 languages are in tauri/public/locales: translations are welcome.
Good to know
A DedCut built by someone else doesn’t receive official updates: they are signed by ByKemi.
