Troubleshooting
Solutions to the most common issues.
Most problems are fixed in a few seconds. Here are the most frequent ones.
Where to find itIf nothing works, report the bug from DedCut (see the article Reporting a bug).
What you can do
- Windows blocks the installation: “More info” then “Run anyway”.
- Black game picture: set the game to “Windowed fullscreen”.
- No game sound: tick audio sharing in the screen picker.
- Silent mic: choose it in the mixer and allow it in Windows settings.
- Choppy preview: let DedCut create the light copy of big videos.
Good to know
After a crash, reopen DedCut: your last project is recovered.
