Text-based editing
Cut your video by deleting words, like in a word processor.
DedCut writes down everything said in your video. You select words and delete them: the video is cut at the same place and the rest moves back by itself.
Where to find itCaptions tab > “Open edit by text”, or right-click a clip.
What you can do
- Delete whole sentences by selecting them with the mouse.
- Remove all the “um”s at once.
- Shorten long pauses.
Good to know
Subtitles follow your cuts, and Ctrl+Z undoes everything.
