Import and place your videos

1. Open the Edit space, then the Media tab on the left.
2. Drag your videos, photos and sounds from Windows Explorer, or click the area to pick them.
3. Then drag each item onto the timeline at the bottom: that’s where your video is built.
4. Press Space to play or pause the preview.

Tip A big 4K video? DedCut makes a light copy on its own so the preview stays smooth; the export keeps the original quality.
